Long overdue blog post but I have to brag on a few products that I’m just really hyped up about because I’m personally using and seeing results with them!

Approximately 10 weeks ago I introduced my salon clients to a new hair treatment system called Calecim. Calecim is a scalp serum derived from ethically sourced stem cells that, when applied directly to the scalp, energize your own cells increasing cell reproduction

which results in a healthier scalp and leads to increased hair growth and the hair that grows is also of better quality.

w years and tons of hair shedding for as long as I can remember, I knew I had to try it. (Side note…I always like to be a Guinea pig for any new products I introduce)

While I have not noticed a significant amount of new hair growth (since we’re working on the scalp it will be a bit before new hair growth is visible) there are new hairs coming in and I do have a significant reduction in hair loss which is actually making my hair feel thicker because I’m not losing as much which makes me extremely happy.

I am definitely noticing a significant improvement in the first client that I began on the system which was at the same time I started,10 weeks ago. My client's hair was extremely thin and flat and although we are also not seeing new growth yet, the hair has a noticeable improvement in it’s appearance, namely, much improved body. 

A few more weeks of the treatment and we should both be seeing actual growth and for the clients who started their Calecim journey more recently, they should soon be noticing a difference.

Having very sensitive skin, I was very nervous to try a retinol serum as I know retinol can be slightly irritating to the skin. (For years I have been using a night cream that contains a tiny amount of retinol without any irritation but I was still concerned) This new retinol is designed for daily p.m. use and does not require any "retinizing" (term used to adjust and desensitize your skin to the retinol) in order to use it.

Not only has the serum NOT irritated my skin, it has only been two weeks and I am already noticing a reduction in my “11” lines as well as my “marionette” lines! I am totally sold and have to look twice at myself in the mirror because I literally cannot believe my eyes!

I never expected to see this much improvement in such a short time period. The price point is also a plus as Mary Kay’s products contain quality ingredients at an affordable price.
